Thoroughbred Out of Reillucky, By Cahill Road

Tacksi is Tsigilili's little sister who stands at 17 hands and is big-bodied for a thoroughbred, as was her mother, Belle. She was born at El Dorado Farms in Enumclaw, Washington on April 12, 2005. Her conception was on April 15, 2004, thus her Jockey Club name mimicking Turbo Tax. It was never our intention to race her, although Teren had trained racehorses and jumping horses on the East Coast many years ago.

Like her mother, Tacksi has a giant calming presence and truly enjoys being with people. She is in her element (as are most horses) with hanging out and loves being groomed and having deep bodywork.

A suspensory injury to her right front in 2019 and arthritis in her hocks prevent her from more active work, yet she still enjoys trails and light riding.

Tacksi’s sire, Cahill Road, was a leading Washington sire, having won the Wood Memorial and many graded stakes races. Tacksi was foaled in Enumclaw and grew up there in the herd for her first two years with occasional "vacations" back at Heron Hill with her herd.
