HHE hosts partner programs and events and works with individuals and organiztions to offer equine-assisted learning and experiences.

2023 was a year of learning from pilot programs which included art-based projects. Some examples are included here and will be offered again. Sign up for email notification as they are scheduled.

Meet a horse sessions are tailored to your interests and pre-arranged. 45 or 90 minute sessions can include horse-human touch and non-verbal communication in a safe setting.

This is a great way for children to meet a horse for the first time, adults who have been away from them for years or just want to have a horse experience.

"No place like home," said the horse as the yellow boat sailed.

Art and story-telling sessions with children and adults, together or separate, allow exploration of the arts in the presence of horses. Each horse in the herd has a collection of stories from our time together, or you can create your own story.

The facility provides abundant safe and comfortable options for plein air sessions in a variety of locations to capture horses in nature through your medium of choice.
